Quick post – I’m going vego (see, it’s endorsed by Mac, why else would they call them Apples?). It’s a spur of the moment decision, that’s how I like ’em.
Polly will be proud, and pleased he’s no longer on the menu. I’m just glad I no longer have to eat the salted meat rations in the hold! Actually it’s so that I eat more fruit and veg and feel healthier, I’ll let you know how I go.
Got any good vego recipes? Post ’em in the comments. So far I can make salad, so I’ll need all the good ideas I can get.
This is one of the most awesome vegetarian-food blogs I’ve found: http://wildebeestplain.blogspot.com/ Loads of recepies, and updates regularly. Also written by a friend, so I can confidently say I’ve tried most of them and they taste really good.
Hope that helps!
So how’s it working out for you.
I kind of feel like you would make a bad vego, with all the meat in your fridge and the lack of Vego’s for support around you!
Is there a AA’s for Vego’s
Here’s a good page to help you get through Christmas as well! http://www.vegsoc.org/cordonvert/recipes/christmas.html
I’m going to try making the ‘pine nut and carrot roast’ for a friend of mine tomorrow, so I can let you know how it works out…
Indeed, a little more support from the boyfriend corner would help!
Pine-nut roast was cool btw. Tasted slightly like omlette but otherwise good 🙂
